LeaveWeb is used by all active duty Air and Space Force members to request, approve, and process military leave requests. Some of the key features of LeaveWeb 4.0 are as follows:
Allows all leave to be managed from a central location for system and audit purposes.
Establishes a hierarchical view capability from the AF level through various organizations to the individual members.
Expands LeaveWeb capabilities to process all leave types.
Requires digital signatures for all requesting and approving levels of military leave.
Maintains approved DD 2875s within the system and eliminates the need to maintain paper copies.
LeaveWeb provides visibility of the military leave process from the top down. Air Force Admins are able to monitor all leave processes. The AFIMSC/AFAFO Admins can monitor the leave process for their assigned MAJCOMs and the associated bases. Base Admin/Finance can monitor the leave processes for all Commanders Support Staff (CSS) within their Base structure. The CSS Admins can monitor the leave process for all of its Units. And the Unit Admins can view the leave requests of all personnel within their respective Units.
The built in hierarchy and ability to monitor the process at the same level or below enables the appropriate parties to verify that all leave is processed accurately and in a timely manner.
