In 2023, the maximum Special Leave Accrual (SLA) balance was reduced from 120 to 90 days, and the 120 limit will expire on 30 Sept 26. Regular leave carryover stays at 60 days. Any balance that exceeds 90 days on 30 Sept 26 will be lost, regardless of whether they have SLA protection on that leave. Enlisted members may make a one time sell back of up to 30 SLA days, which counts toward the 60 day career sell back cap. Members must contact their MPF to begin the process.

Usage Agreement:

Privacy Act Statement:
Authority: 10 U.S.C., Chapter 40; 37 U.S.C., Chapter 9; EO 9397, November 1943
Principal Purposes: To authorize military leave, document the start and stop of such leave; record address and telephone number where you may be contacted in case of emergency during leave; and certify leave days chargeable to you.
Routine Uses: Information may be disclosed to the Department of Justice, and to federal, state, local or foreign law enforcement authorities for investigating or prosecuting a violation or potential violation of law; the American Red Cross for information concerning the needs of the member or dependents and relatives in emergency situations.
Disclosure: Disclosure of SSN is voluntary. However, this system cannot process your leave request without your SSN, since the Air Force identifies members by SSN for pay or leave purposes.

AFFSO operates the LeaveWeb Mobile App mobile application. This section informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
- We do not collect any user data through the LeaveWeb Mobile App mobile application.
- We do not collect any personally identifiable information or any other data that could be used to identify you within the LeaveWeb Mobile App.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update for any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
