The Defense Travel System (DTS) TDY Not Charged screen displays results from the DTS TDY report. The report lists the TDY leaves that exist in DTS but do not have a corresponding leave request in LeaveWeb or DJMS. This screen is visible to Base-level users with the Finance privilege, except AFFSC. The results will show for the base for which the user has the Finance privilege.
Note: This report is updated with new data every 30 days.
Base FM users are only able to create leaves in LeaveWeb if the members' Current Base is the same as the Leave Location Base. After a leave has been created for the member, the new leave icon will be replaced with a view leave icon, which redirects the user to the Leave Request – View screen.
If the Current Base and Leave Location Base are different, the Current Base FM will need to contact the Leave Location Base FM in order to determine if the leave is valid. If it is, the Leave Location Base FM needs to create the leave and the Current Base FM will delete it off their report with a note stating it was created by Leave Location Base.
Click DTS TDY Not Charged in the Sidebar to display a list of DTS leave records.
Note: The Edit Request and Copy Request buttons are available after the request is saved. See the Edit Leave Request topic for more information
After the leave request is Saved, do one of the following:
Click Sign and Submit, and enter CAC PIN to digitally sign and submit the leave request to the assigned Base FM user for approval. The View Leave Request screen displays with an annotation in the Request History panel.
Once a leave has been created, that request will appear in the Created Leave from DTS TDY Not Charged Records section. Base FM users can view a leave request once it has been submitted.
Note: Leaves that have been submitted and in Authorized status will fall off the list when the audit table is cleared every 30 days. The leaves can be tracked in Leave Search.
Click DTS TDY Not Charged in the Sidebar to display a list of DTS leave records.
Base FM users can delete a leave request if it is determined to be invalid.
Click DTS TDY Not Charged in the Sidebar to display a list of DTS leave records.
Note: The Audit table will be cleared every 30 days. All notes made when deleting a request should be entered into DTS for the audit record. LeaveWeb is not the official audit record.
Click the Export button at the top of the screen to export the Leave Request records into a CSV file. The export will not include any leaves that have been created.
